This is part of Pam Hamilton’s “Lonely Prairie Series.”
It was inspired by my move back to the midwest from the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. As beautiful as the mountains are I realized how much I loved the prairie landscape. The way the vast expanse meets the sky can seem lonely at times, but to me It will always be home.
