Artists’ Discussion: “Artist Speed Talk & Share”
Join us for a dynamic Artist Speed Talk & Share event, where artists can practice discussing their art in a friendly and engaging format! This event is designed like speed dating but with a twist: artists will have brief, one-on-one conversations with fellow artists, alternating between discussing their own work and listening to others. Keep in mind this is NOT meant as a “dating” setting” but a safe environment to get used to speaking on your art more confidently thru this exercise. FINAL SESSION: after working on your one on one skills; each attending artist makes short presentations of their piece to whole group. It’s a fantastic opportunity to refine how you talk about your art, gain new perspectives, and connect with a supportive community.
Who Should Come
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event will help you gain confidence in articulating your artistic vision. Let’s celebrate creativity, learn from each other, and build connections within the art community!
How It Works
- What to Bring: A piece of artwork or photo of your work.
- Each round, you’ll have a few minutes to describe your art, style and inspiration with another artist. After the time is up, you’ll switch roles—listening while your partner talks about their art.
- At the end of the session, each artist will have the chance to present a piece of their art to the entire group.
FREE but RSVP by November 11
